Taveta Golden Weaver Painting

This is a painting of a bird that I saw at the San Diego Zoo. It is a Taveta Golden Weaver.

For a while, I was experimenting with different styles of digital painting and I have come to the realization that I much prefer my original style.

I went back to using Adobe Fresco's oil paint brushes and didn't create an outline before painting. This helps me because I've been spending too much time focusing on the details before I even need to. Hard to explain clearly but I prefer this to the other style I was working on previously.
