Abstract Tulips - Charcoal Drawing

I created this 8.5" by 5.5" drawing with charcoal pencils on toned paper in about 4 hours. This drawing is based on a photo I took of a close-up of tulips. I like that you can't really tell what is going on in the background. It gives that abstract feel and has a little bit of mystery to it.
